The relationship between college athletes' health literacy and COVID-19 anxiety levels

Background and Study Aim. Health literacy is the ability to access health information, understand, evaluate apply information. The of athletes may be determinant in understanding COVID-19 pandemic process level impact this health-related anxiety factor. Therefore, aim study examine whether there a relationship between college athletes' levels their during pandemic. Material Methods. College ages 18 32 participated average age was 24.2. A total 234 elite collage study. 133 participants were males 101 females. Anxiety Scale used determine states Literacy index process. Pearson correlation analysis stepwise regression performed for statistical analyses. Significance has been accepted as p. < 05. Results. Our findings revealed that significant relationships sub-dimension scores COVID-anxiety level. In addition, it determined information sub-dimensions from predicted athletes’ at 21.2%. As result, had low against COVID-19, situation associated with high literacy. Conclusions. increase will decrease levels. It beneficial implement training programs can order reduce unexpected crisis due especially athletes.
